Having successfully launched its new offices in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) almost 18 months ago, Cathexis Technologies is enjoying exceptional growth in this region. To help bolster the development of its Middle Eastern operations, Cathexis Technologies, has appointed a dedicated team to manage its operation in Dubai.

Younes has five years’ experience in the United Arab Emirates, having worked as a technical support engineer, a business analyst and a technical team leader for an information technology company. His most recent vocation had him employed as a field support engineer for Abu Dhabi Airports.

As regional support engineer, Younes will aid in strengthening the company’s relationships in the Middle East, enhancing the support of its existing and new channel partners, and increasing the company’s exposure to end-users and consultants.

“The emerging nature of the Middle East market has provided phenomenal growth opportunities for video surveillance equipment and software providers,” says Gus Brecher, managing director of Cathexis Africa and group marketing director of Cathexis Technologies. “As the dynamics of this market differ to that of its European, USA and African counterparts, Cathexis will be placing an even stronger focus on developing excellent business relationships with distributors and customers.”
