Biometric Terminals roadshow 2015

November 2015 Conferences & Events, News & Events

On the 14th October 2015, Morpho South Africa kicked off the Biometric Terminals Product showcase at the Fairways Hotel, Randpark, Johannesburg. The product showcase is a series of events to be hosted throughout the country targeting end-users and engineering consultants.

Biometrics for access control and time and attendance has been widely accepted in South Africa, in fact Morpho is a market leader in the region. The aim of the series of events is to introduce customers to the next generation of products namely the Morpho Access Sigma series, Morpho Tablet, Morpho 3D Face and the recently launched Morpho Wave. These products represent the return of Morpho’s investment in research and development over the past few years.

The day was divided into two sessions, a breakfast session and lunch session with an open exhibition running throughout the day. Giving customers the opportunity to interact and experience the technology first hand. The programme started with an introduction from sales manager Nicolas Garcia, followed by Jeremy Massiet, product manager for the Morpho Wave. Craig Dubois South Africa key account manager did a summary of the Morpho Tablet and 3D Face reader.

The overall impression of the event was a sounding satisfactory success as it allowed for engagement and showed Morpho’s true commitment of its customers. John Powell, a Morpho partner commented, “Thank you for a super day today. Great food, products and company.” Customers found the presentations useful and informative. Morpho hopes for even better customer responses throughout the course of the road show, the next one will be held in November 2015 in Port Elizabeth.
