Paxton integration with Nx Witness

Paxton has announced an integration of its networked access control system, Net2, with Nx Witness’ VMS plug-in. Using the Net2 VIP platform, the integration allows the Nx Witness video management system to display video footage within the Net2 events window; providing enhanced access control and video management on a single platform.

Net2, Paxton’s access control offers centralised administration and control of sites ranging from one to hundreds of doors, and thousands of users. The integration will add the Nx Witness plug-in to the camera integrations within Net2, allowing cameras to be associated with doors. This in turn will display video footage associated with events generated at these doors. The upgrade also includes navigational buttons to allow the user to scroll backwards and forwards from the time of the event, for added security and ease.

• Nx Witness full featured embedded client accessible from the Net2 client

• Smart motion search, flexible timeline, zoom windows, PTZ controls, and Fisheye de-warping inside the embedded Nx Witness client

• 30 second installation and minutes to configure inside Net2 client

• Allows operators to link any number of cameras from NX Witness to a single door in Net2

• Free of charge, the software is downloadable from Network Optix website

The Nx Witness plug-in is free and works with both the Net2 Pro and Net2 Lite software packages.
