ESDA will be holding a roadshow in the Western Cape on 29 July 2015. The event will be held in Cape Town, at Riverclub, c/o Liesbeek Parkway & Observatory Road, Observatory. This is a morning only event that closes at 1 pm.

Nemtek, a pioneer in its field, has become the benchmark for the security electric fencing industry. The Nemtek group manufactures a full range of energisers and fencing hardware and has become a globally known and respected company.

The Nemtek Taut Wire system

The purpose of the Taut Wire system is to provide another layer of perimeter security that is independent of any other security systems. The Taut Wire system provides a means of detecting any change in tension or tampering on a wire by means of a Taut Wire sensor. Up to 31 sensors may be connected to the Nemtek FG 7 LCD platform. The Nemtek platform is used to provide a graphical interface and connectivity to a network of Nemtek energisers, input/output cards and Taut Wire sensors.

Any Taut Wire sensor may be associated with a sector upon the Nemtek FG7 platform. Each sector will be displayed on the FG7 LCD screen, should any sensor assigned to a sector be deflected an active alarm will be displayed on the FG7 LCD screen.
