Tim Timmins is PinnSec GM

Pinnacle Africa has appointed Tim Timmins as the new general manager of the company’s Life Safety and Security division, PinnSec.

Timmins has been in South Africa for the past 20 years, but hails from the building systems market in the UK and brings with him a total of 28 years’ experience. He has experience in consultancy, integration and distributions sides of the security industry and has held top management positions throughout his career. His appointment as the new GM of PinnSec is in line with the re-launch of PinnSec into the industry.

PinnSec acts as a specialised supplier and design / marketing support centre for a range of CCTV, public address, evacuation, access control, fire detection and gas suppression products within Pinnacle Africa’s portfolio. PinnSec provides solutions for small to high-end applications in the banking, commercial, education, government, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, mining, retail, sport, transportation and other related industries.
