The ProvisionISR I4-380IPVF is part of the new generation IP camera range recently launched by Hitek Security Distributors in South Africa. This 40 metre Infrared bullet camera has a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor offering 1.3 MP image quality and will shortly be followed by a 2 MP camera. By incorporating the removable IR cut filter it can offer true day and night colours with 0 LUX illumination needed for night time viewing.
The camera is also ONVIF compatible. Some of the functions offered by this camera include digital WDR capabilities, mirror/flip of images, two-way audio communications, privacy zone masking as well as motion detection. The lens size currently available is 3.3-12 mm vari-focal and will soon be available in 2.8-12 mm vari-focal iris lens.
The image qualities can also be set up on the camera where you can set the exposure mode (auto/manual), backlight compensation, adjustable headlight compensation as well as being able to adjust sharpness, saturation, brightness and contrast. The camera is also IP66 rated. It comes with a 3-axis bracket and is waterproof. The camera is also capable of a bit rate compression of up to 4 Mbps as well 100 Mbps Ethernet communication.
It incorporates a micro USB slot which can handle up to 64 GB of storage space with the ability to take still pictures when motion is detected and saving it to the storage card, while being able to send the still images simultaneously to three different email addresses once configured.
