Canon’s smallest 1080P IP PTZ

The VB-S30D is an ultra-compact indoor minidome camera that’s part of Canon’s new S series of network cameras. It’s designed for businesses or venues that require discreet installation with pan, tilt and zoom control.

The VB-S30D features Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution at 30fps. The dual image processors – DIGIC DV III and DIGIC NET II – enable seamless capturing, processing, encoding and transmitting of images. The 3.5X optical zoom lens enables the camera to change its field of view from 77.7° to 20.7°, allowing both general and detailed views from one camera.

Auto Smart Shade Control (SSC) optimises exposure to improve highlights and correct dark areas in backlit scenes or low light conditions, offering a true day/night operation. The VB-S30D supports edge recording on MicroSD cards up to 64 GB. It features a new utility that can playback directly from the MicroSD card, without the content being first downloaded to a PC.

ONVIF V2.2 Profile S is also supported, while integration with Mirasys provides for additional features, such as one-click centring for seamless PTZ control.
