Elvey Expos a success

July 2014 News & Events

Hosted in some of the most iconic sporting stadia in four provinces of South Africa, the Elvey Expos have scored in meeting their set goals. Designed as a platform to showcase Elvey’s broad range of innovative security products covering intruder protection, access control, fire protection, CCTV equipment and integration; the exhibitions outperformed in the creation of a tailored experience for all involved. According to Janet Holfeld, marketing manager of Elvey Security Technologies, the event exceeded all expectations and was well received.

The spirit of partnership passed through each exhibition as Elvey worked hand in hand with its key suppliers to deliver a unique, value-adding experience to its local customers. Every Elvey Expo was designed to be interactive and personalised, including information sessions. These sessions allowed stakeholders to have intimate yet robust information sessions with technical consultants to get insight into technological developments within the industry and where things were going.

Andrew Stead, sales director at Radio Data Communications, a supplier of Elvey, attended and noted, “It was a good decision as supplier to attend, as the events are very successful.”

After the first day of each exhibition, guests and staff were invited to attend a cocktail party where good food and conversation flowed freely as relationships strengthened. The consensus amongst suppliers and customers in attendance was that the Expos were “well organised, professional and a possible blueprint for the industry to follow in future”.

Jack Edery, the CEO of Elvey, stated that Elvey will most likely host other expos in future as it continues to bring cutting-edge technology and products to customers.

Derius Wagner, regional manager at Nemtek commented on the expos, saying, “…professional setup and a concept that the entire industry will benefit from in the future.”

Of the many customers attending the expos, Bevil Cupido from Freelance Electronics simply said: “One word – brilliant”.
