Reditron is partner of choice for Saflec

May 2014 News & Events

Reditron was recently declared as the partner of choice for Saflec access control products in South Africa.

Mel Labuschagne, MD of Reditron, stated: “Saflec Systems has more than 10 years of experience in quality access control applications. It offers access control hardware and software products designed and manufactured in South Africa by a skilled set of developers who have an abundance of experience in the access control field. Reditron has worked with this brand for many years, but we recently realigned our focus and Saflec remains one of our core access control brands.”

Saflec, in return, has also recognised the significant contribution Reditron has made to its sales and decided to streamline its distribution channel by only allowing Reditron and one other distributor to take their product to market. Barend Keyser, the Saflec Group’s sales manager says, “Saflec is an aggressive company that meets all problems head on. The secret of our success is in the strong bonds of loyalty that exists between staff and the ability to react to a situation immediately with the minimum of delay. We feel that Reditron possesses a similar attitude towards business and this shared philosophy makes it a prime partner to distribute our product.”

The product offering that Saflec brings to the table consists of a number of products, but its flagship product is the SDC-550 controller which has been reliably controlling access at sites all over South Africa and the world. Saflec will be releasing a new product later in the year. This product will be the next generation of its reliable workhorse door controllers – allowing it to do even more in an offline access control scenario.
