Retail Risk Management Breakfast

1 March 2014 News & Events

Hi-Tech Security Solutions in partnership with The Consumer Goods Council Risk Initiative will be hosting an invitation-only breakfast in Johannesburg on 10th April 2014, focusing on the security issues the retail industry in South Africa faces.

The event will consist of breakfast, followed by three presentations by experts in the retail risk management field, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues and peers in the exhibition area . The exhibition area itself will contain tabletop displays from security companies involved in retail security, allowing attendees to catch up on the latest technology and services on offer to the retail market.

The keynote presentation will be by Dr Graham Wright, previously of Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA). Dr Wright will be speaking on combating crime-related risk in the retail industry, based on research from the Consumer Goods Council (CGC).

The presentations will not be product or sales related but will rather highlight the risks this industry faces and best practices in resolving them while enhancing the efficacy of your business.  Presenters will also look beyond security, delving into how security systems and technology can also be used to deliver business benefits and support revenue growth.

The event is aimed at people and companies actively involved in securing retail environments, from standalone stores through to malls, franchise operations, garage forecourts and  retail distribution centres. System integrators who design and install retail security solutions will also benefit from attending the breakfast event.

This promises to be the retail event of the year. Please reply as soon as possible to secure your place.
