No-touch biometric authentication

Suprema’s next generation IP-based face recognition terminal for access and time and attendance is ideally suited to secure environments requiring contactless, hands-free operation for a more convenient and hygienic method than other access control technology. It is also highly effective in environments with problem fingers.

Using advanced algorithms and patented adaptive IR illumination technology, FaceStation detects live faces and extracts face images regardless of lighting conditions, whilst achieving incredible matching speeds (1:1,000<1second).

Using an enhanced Face Enrolment GUI, complete with 3D animation cut scenes and guides, as well as voice assist, a user can be enrolled with up to five sub-IDs, for example with a hat, beard, glasses, etc. Another advanced enrolment feature includes 1:1 face template updating which allows for progressive enrolment, meaning that if the image gathered during 1:1 authentication is better, then it is used to enhance the template stored on the device.
