Regal announced the release of Hikvision EXIR infrared technology for network cameras. The Hikvision EXIR series IP cameras delivers advanced levels of nighttime surveillance for any indoor or outdoor environment. EXIR technology uses thin-film, light-emitting technology combined with rectangular-shaped lenses resulting in a uniform IR illumination with up to a 30% increase in efficiency over traditional LED array technology and a stronger light for long-range visibility. EXIR technology produces LED light in the form of a rectangle in order to fit a screen’s normal size (4:3 or 16:9). This helps to eliminate traditional LED lens issues, such as over-exposure at the centre of images, and darker areas at corners. The Hikvision EXIR IP Camera range includes a 1,3 and 3 MP IP Bullet cameras, 1,3 and 3 MP IP Dome cameras (Turret) and are available from your nearest Regal branch.
