American Dynamics has introduced the Illustra Compact IP Mini-Domes. Designed for applications where discretion is of the utmost importance, these cameras are aimed at retail stores, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, schools and banks. The high-performance, compact camera delivers 720p and 1080p resolutions.
Features include motion detection, low-light performance with soft day/night and DSS, digital wide dynamic range, 2D noise reduction, and an easy positioning 3-axis gimbal. Although this camera is small in stature, it’s tough. The highly protective housing is IK10-rated, and can withstand severe impacts from anyone trying to disengage the camera.
Ideal for surveillance of wide areas, the 1080p resolution model provides a 123-degree wide horizontal viewing angle. With detailed resolution of 15 pixels per degree, this model captures a crisp, clear image of an entire scene, even the perimeter.
The Illustra Compact Mini-Domes support the complete feature set of the ONVIF Profile S specification for IP cameras, which allows for a high level of integration of recording platforms that comply with this specification. ONVIF Profile S aids end-users and system designers in determining interoperable components of a physical security solution.
