Endura and Symmetry integrated

August 2013 Surveillance

Schneider Electric has announced that its Pelco Endura Enterprise video management system (VMS) is now integrated with the AMAG Symmetry Security Management software. This in-depth integration of IP systems allows users access to live video, playback video, pan-tilt-zoom, and alarms, including analytic alarms from Pelco Sarix IP cameras that are connected to the Endura system.

“We are pleased to announce the completion of the development effort establishing integration between the Endura Enterprise VMS and the AMAG Symmetry Security Management software,” said Jeremy Hoyos, integration business development manager, Schneider Electric. “We continue to focus 100% of our research and development on IP services and technologies and this new integration is further evidence that we are meeting our customers’ needs to deliver open IP-based solutions to meet ever evolving security needs.”

Schneider Electric and AMAG have a long-standing partnership, which includes AMAG being one of the first companies to join the Pelco Partner First program. In addition to this new integration, the companies are working on a future integration with Pelco’s Sarix line and have collaborated on several other existing integrations, including the Pelco Digital Sentry VMS series.

“The integration between AMAG’s Symmetry Security Management System and Pelco’s Endura VMS provides our customers with an advanced IP VMS option for mission-critical surveillance applications,” said David Weinbach, product manager, AMAG Technology. “Our continued partnership with an industry leader like Schneider Electric strengthens our video solution offerings and our overall security management platform.”
