Cathexis to exhibit at IFSEC UK

May 2013 News

Following the successful launch of its new CatVision IP Video Management suite in South Africa, local surveillance solutions provider, Cathexis will be exhibiting at the IFSEC show in Birmingham in May this year with a view to extending its already significant UK and European presence.

“The new CatVision suite has brought us to the leading edge of the IP video industry, and has opened many new routes to market. Because the solution is software based, it enables distributors to easily add the product to their portfolio as their primary or supplementary product, and effectively removes logistics issues like freight costs and stock holding,” says Cathexis Technologies marketing director, Gus Brecher.

The CatVision suite has integrated most popular IP camera brands and offers an extremely powerful, yet easy to use video solution with features like easy camera duplication, event setup duplication, multiple camera streaming, multicast, network storage, off-site monitoring, map interface, events and alarm management, video analytics etc. and has mobile access via IPhone and Android applications.

In addition to this, Cathexis is probably a leader in the provision of integration with third-party devices such as access control, alarm and fire panels, point-of-sale and several other systems.
