Barrier chosen for Audi Rivonia

Turnstar recently installed two Talon Tyre-Spike Vehicle Barriers at the new Audi Rivonia premises. The 3,5 m barriers are installed flush with the roadway and the double sided spikes offer protection in both directions. A single sided spike can sometimes offer only protection from one side, and who is to say that a criminal will drive the vehicle out through the exit lane and not the entrance lane. The spike barriers at Audi are fitted with high visibility traffic lights and for extra safety, each barrier is connected to two safety loops.
