Suprema’s Xpass Slim is a gang box mountable IP access reader/controller which comes in a sleek and aesthetically designed housing and is now available in black or white. Xpass Slim features multi-smartcard reading technology, network interfaces and built-in controller functions. The device is sized to fit a switchbox (gang box) with slim design (11,4 mm thick) and is sealed in a rugged IP65-rated waterproof structure.
Xpass Slim’s multi smartcard reading feature reads various smartcard standards including Mifare CSN, iCLASS UID, Felica IDM, ISO14443 A/B CSN and ISO15963 CSN with a single device. On the network side, Xpass Slim provides a TCP/IP (or RS 485) interface, Wiegand and an internal relay for direct lock interface, which brings significant cost savings in installation and maintenance by leveraging the existing network.
The design of Xpass Slim is focused on satisfying both aesthetic and practical aspects. It features a 3D triangular design, multi-colour LED indicator and an extra slim profile of 11,4 mm. Measuring 80 mm in height and 120 mm in width, the device is designed to fit into a switchbox.
In addition, Xpass Slim is fully compatible with BioStar, Suprema’s IP-based access control management system.
