Established in 1991, Matrix Comsec is a designer and manufacturer of telecom and security products that are marketed in more than 50 countries. Matrix recently inaugurated its new manufacturing unit at Waghodia, in Vadodara. The launch of the factory reinforces Matrix' vision of providing innovative world-class products and solutions for a better tomorrow.

The new manufacturing unit is spread over an area of 7246 square metres and is operated by a team of engineers. The new structure houses departments like production, testing, quality control, stores and dispatch. Universally practiced production and quality processes have been implemented in the new factory. It endeavours to create harmony with nature and has considered ecological aspects like rain water harvesting and the usage of waste water. The new manufacturing facility envelops various energy conserving techniques, which reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. It will provide an ecologically sensitive, energy-saving, waste reducing and a healthy environment for employees.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Jivani, MD of Matrix Comsec said, “Matrix is among the few Indian companies which indigenously manufactures and markets both telecom and security products. Wireless door controller

The Matrix COSEC DOOR FOW is a front-end terminal to manage attendance and control entries and exits through various credentials like fingerprint and RFID cards. It can be connected with COSEC readers and door lock to provide an access control solution. This door controller can work as a standalone door controller or can work in a network with other door controllers. The inbuilt Wi-Fi module along with options for 3G, GSM, GPRS, CDMA connectivity allows this door controller to be used by all organisations, including those having offices at remote locations. It has premium features like USB, touch sense keypad, LCD display, tamper detection, auxiliary input and output port etc.

* 9600 fingerprint storage and 500 000 events storage.
