Scanning cargo effectively

HAB Fire & Security helps agencies protect against threats, counter trade fraud and detect contraband.

Every second of every day thousands of tonnes of cargo is shipped around the world. How do you effectively search millions of containers and vehicles, protecting the security of our borders, without slowing the flow of trade?

In a world where goods are shipped across land and sea borders every second of every day, it is crucial for governments to be able to search cars, trucks and containers without slowing the flow of trade. HAB Fire & Security helps customs, police and defence agencies protect against threats, counter trade fraud and detect contraband by supplying, installing and maintaining Rapiscan Systems high performance Eagle cargo and vehicle screening systems.

What sets Rapiscan Eagle inspection products apart is the combination of imaging quality and operational flexibility, with low cost of ownership. Available configurations include mobile, portal, gantry, rail, trailer, and occupied vehicle screening.

Rapiscan’s MeV X-ray scanning product range provides advanced material separation imaging and CabScan scanning, which enables high-energy scanners to safely scan occupied vehicles.

The Eagle products allow customers to add features such as integrated radiation detection, optical character recognition (OCR) and material separation, while the Eagle mobile and gantry systems can be adapted to high throughput drive-through operation, based on customer requirements.

The Eagle cargo inspection systems enable the customer to define and build a solution that best meets their inspection requirements. Whether scanning cargo pallets, containers, passenger vehicles or trucks, threat detection is made easier and faster with X-ray images.

Rapiscan’s cargo viewer software tools and operating systems are standardised across all products to make operation, training and maintenance easier and better.
