This camera from Dahua uses a ½,8-inch megapixel Sony progressive scan Exmor CMOS image sensor in conjunction with a high-performance TI DaVinci series digital signal processor to deliver a full HD image at real-time 25 frames-per-second.
During the day, this IP camera uses an IR-cut filter. IR light is filtered out so that it does not distort the colours of images as the human eye sees them. When the camera is in night (black and white) mode, the IR-cut filter is removed, increasing the camera’s light sensitivity. This increases the IR range of the camera which is specified at 20 to 30 metres. IP66 ingress protection means the camera is effectively water-proof and dust-proof. This full function IP camera is equipped with a high resolution 3,3-12 mm wide angle to telephoto varifocal megapixel lens for up to 75 degrees field of view.
