The new FLIR PT-Series security camera is a network-ready, pan-tilt, multi-sensor thermal security camera, which allows you to see intruders and other threats in total darkness and in bad weather.
With its precision pan-tilt mechanism the PT-Series gives operator’s accurate pointing control. The cameras are available in 160 X 120, 320 X 240, and high-resolution 640 X 480 formats, providing up to 16 times the image clarity and a longer threat detection range than its lower resolution counterparts.
Its multi-sensor configurations include a day/night 36X zoom colour CCD camera; pixel output depends on the model chosen, and varies in accordance to a user’s clarity and detail requirements. A user can also rotate the camera 360&Deg; continuously, tilt it to +90° or -90°, with 28 pre-set positions.
The PT-Series can also be connected to a radar system, and all versions are equipped with a long-range daylight and low light camera and exchangeable camera cassettes. Due to its immense clarity the imagery from the cameras are ideal for the purposes of video analytics and Digital Detail Enhancement ensures clear, properly contrasted thermal images in all weather conditions.
The PT-Series can be integrated in any existing TCP/IP network and controlled over a PC. Users can enjoy digital video in H.264, MPEG-4, or M-JPEG formats and simultaneous digital and composite video output is also possible. Each PT-Series camera comes with a single sensor copy of FLIR Sensors Manager allowing you to manage and control your camera in a TCP/IP network.
