Adding AI analytics to security monitoring

SEON has announced its latest integration with Refraime, an AI-powered video analytics platform designed to elevate CCTV surveillance through real-time object detection and intelligent alerting. This partnership enables SEON to deliver a smarter, more adaptive monitoring solution using clients’ existing camera infrastructure.

Refraime’s technology uses artificial intelligence to analyse pre-defined zones within camera footage in real time, accurately identifying and classifying objects of interest. When relevant activity is detected, Refraime generates immediate alerts and sends them via the customer’s preferred messaging channels, such as Telegram, email, or other integrations. This empowers the right people to respond instantly.

A feature of Refraime is its self-learning capability. If an alert is marked as false, the platform retrieves the relevant images and continuously re-trains the detection model, improving accuracy over time and maintaining a false alert rate of less than 2% from the outset.

Key highlights of Refraime include:

Works with existing cameras: Fast, seamless setup compatible with most analogue and digital systems.

Customisable safe zones: Users can easily define monitoring areas and specify objects of interest.

Smart, reliable alerts: AI-driven notifications with built-in feedback loops to reduce false positives.

Cost-effective and scalable: A user-friendly solution suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

This collaboration enables SEON to extend its cloud-native platform with video intelligence. Security providers and end users gain deeper insights, faster responses, and fewer false alarms, without the need for new hardware. By combining Refraime’s real-time analytics with SEON’s end-to-end monitoring tools, customers can now experience a higher standard of surveillance: proactive, precise, and powered by AI.
