Bosch has announced the launch of its new IP-based horn loudspeakers and amplifier module: the high-output LHN-UC15L-SIP horn (for long-throw applications), the compact LHN-UC15W-SIP horn (for wide-angle coverage) and the AMN-P15-SIP amplifier module.

The horns are each equipped with a built-in class-D amplifier, also delivering up to 15 Watts, and can be integrated directly into existing SIP-capable systems for use as VoIP/SIP endpoints. The horns and the amplifier module support Power over Ethernet (PoE).

The horn speakers serve as a state-of-the-art, integrated audio solution for use with video security systems, providing immediate audio intervention where it is needed most. In scenarios such as these, the horns can ensure real-time situational awareness with audio alerts - where it may stop intruders in their tracks on private property,

The horns and amplifier module offer a range of user-friendly features for flexible and cost-effective integration, including full IP for power (PoE), communication (VolP/SIP) and control; remote configuration via a web-based GUI; Bosch Alarm Task Script Language (ATSL) support for direct camera integration; internal storage for pre-recorded messages; third-party integration via easy-to-use HTTPS REST API; GPIO for generic third-party integration; audio line-in to support live speech from other devices, such as the audio line-out of a camera; remote health/self-testing; and powerful onboard DSP (Digital Signal Processing).

IP-based security cameras, video analytics and professional loudspeakers from Bosch are all designed to deliver a beneficial combination of innovation, reliability and versatility for an array of applications. An integrated security system solution comprising Bosch IP horn loudspeakers with Bosch IP cameras can therefore offer the convenience of a single vendor with state-of-the-art synchronised audio-visual performance.
