FS partners with Oculus

SMART Fire & Safety 2024 Fire & Safety, Products & Solutions

FS Systems announced a strategic partnership with Oculus Innovations, a creator of complete control room and visualisation solutions for mission-critical environments. This collaboration brings together FS Systems’ integrated security management solutions with Oculus Innovations’ expertise in designing state-of-the-art control room environments.

Oculus Innovations uses class-leading technologies to provide comprehensive design services, including fit-out of finishes, acoustics, specialised consoles, video wall solutions, and AV systems. FS Systems aims to offer clients an unparalleled, integrated solution through this partnership.

Oculus further enhances control room design and fit-out by ensuring that the ergonomics and functionality of the integrated security management solution add value to the operational requirements. Furniture and architectural elements, including layouts, acoustics, dedicated flooring, lighting and power distribution, are managed and installed by its specialised teams.

“At FS Systems, we are always looking for ways to enhance the value we bring to our clients, and we see our partnership with Oculus Innovations as a great value-add. This partnership allows us to provide clients with an even wider range of solutions that support mission-critical infrastructure and drive operational excellence,” says Carlo Klopper, CEO of the FS Group.

Oculus Innovations has just launched its newest console, Command 2.0, a cutting-edge solution designed with operator ergonomics at its core. This console sets a new standard in control room environments, offering a height-adjustable design that empowers operators to work while standing, fostering better collaboration and quicker response during critical incidents.

The Command Console is engineered to reduce clutter and maximise workspace efficiency. It features versatile equipment mounting options, including pull-out drawers and an integrated 8RU rack within the console core, ensuring all essential tools are within easy reach. Additionally, displays are securely mounted on a dedicated structure, guaranteeing stability and perfect alignment, which is crucial for seamless monitoring and decision-making.

The Command Console by Oculus Innovations is not just a piece of furniture; it is a strategic asset designed to enhance the performance and well-being of control room operators.
