Invixium launches visitor management in IXM WEB 3.0

September 2024 Access Control & Identity Management, Products & Solutions

Invixium has announced the launch of its paperless visitor management platform, IXM VISITOR. This licensed feature of the latest IXM WEB 3.0 platform boasts an array of sophisticated enhancements that streamline guest security with fast, versatile registration, simplified visitor screening, and a customisable dashboard.

The latest release of IXM WEB also enhances end-to-end data and communication security with cybersecurity technologies and encryption. It undergoes regular third-party vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), ensuring the platform remains robust and secure.

“The addition of enterprise visitor management into our software platform addresses a significant market gap,” said Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President at Invixium. “No other biometric manufacturer in the market offers a holistic ecosystem of rugged access control, workforce, and visitor management solutions under one trusted brand. Equipped with advanced end-to-end encryption and data protection, our latest software ensures that our customers have everything they need to customise their security infrastructure without the hassle of dealing with multiple suppliers.”

Enterprise visitor management

The new version of IXM VISITOR introduces a streamlined visitor registration process that offers the flexibility to pre-register, conduct walk-in registrations, or opt for online registration. It seamlessly accommodates various credentials, such as biometrics, QR codes, or digital cards, using IXM MOBILE. Among other noteworthy improvements are the incorporation of scheduling group visits, categorisation of visit types and occurrences, and the addition of the Visitor Watchlist/Blacklist functionality, allowing users to deny access to individuals listed in these categories. With this advanced visitor management solution, admins can efficiently simplify visitor flows and manage access permissions for heightened security and control.

Improved security measures

With data protection at its core, the platform now includes a stringent new password policy to enforce stronger user credentials. End-to-end encryption (dynamic encoding) protects data from unauthorised access during communication. AES-256 encryption ensures that data stored on devices is highly secure.

TLS 1.3 is employed for data in transit to provide an additional layer of security. Sensitive information is further safeguarded with SHA-512 hashing. Integration with Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) streamlines user authentication while maintaining security standards.

Improved interface

IXM WEB 3.0 unveils a new UI/UX with more than 500 new screens. This efficiently manages complex data and generates multiple reports for various departments while maintaining an accurate audit trail.

The Visual Map feature sets a new benchmark in real-time tracking and monitoring, allowing admins to visualise access control and time-tracking devices on multiple floor plans and track events seamlessly. With powerful analytics, actionable insights, and a sleek and user-friendly interface, IXM WEB 3.0 is designed to enhance productivity and user engagement.

Invixium’s software makes it easier for system integrators to implement biometric solutions quickly, significantly speeding up deployment and setup time. The company has established a long list of integration partners, including Genetec, Lenel S2, Galaxy Control Systems, Honeywell, Gallagher Security, Paxton Access, Nedap, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ACRE Security, and more.
