Gallagher Security Africa addresses regional growth

Gallagher Security announces the appointments of Cecil Du Plessis as Business Development Manager (BDM) Africa and Emma Gore as Marketing and Events Coordinator, Africa, acknowledging the company’s continued growth in the region.

Du Plessis, who joins the Johannesburg-based team of business development managers, brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, technical, and project management roles.

“I am excited to embark on this new adventure as part of the Gallagher family. Being part of such a dynamic and innovative team is an incredible opportunity, and I am particularly excited about travelling across Africa once again. I look forward to contributing to our mission and growing together with Gallagher,” says Du Plessis.

Gallagher Security Africa, Group Operating Officer, Morne Grobler says of Du Plessis’ appointment, “We are thrilled to welcome Cecil to the Gallagher Security Africa team. With his proven track record of driving superior performance and accountability in business development and relationship roles throughout Africa, we are excited to have him support our channel partners and end users across the region.”

Emma Gore heads the region’s Marketing and Events also joined the Gallagher Security Africa team.

With a BA in Corporate Communications and experience in project coordination and sales and marketing roles, Gore brings a wealth of experience to the team.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Gallagher team and to be working closely with our channel partners and end users to deliver engaging events and networking opportunities throughout Africa. It is an exciting time for Gallagher as we extend our reach across the region, and I am thrilled to be a part of the journey,” says Gore.

Both appointments recognise Gallagher’s continued expansion in the region. Later this year, the company will open its second Africa office in Cape Town.
