SA’s portal for everything FM-related

August 2024 Facilities & Building Management, News & Events

The Facilities Management Expo 2024, which took place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 11 to 13 June 2024, is now firmly entrenched as the ultimate portal for facilities management solutions. Local and international exhibitors (11 new exhibitors) attracted a diverse visitor base, dominated by property and facilities managers, and business owners

“There are a few things that make Facilities Management Expo so attractive to the market. Firstly, visitors save time and money by being able to visit so many suppliers all under one roof. Not only do they find the FM solutions they need, but we also find that there is a large crossover in solution resolution at the co-located expos. Secondly, the range of solutions is so diverse, from management systems, to cleaning products, energy solutions and everything in-between that goes towards optimising facilities and buildings. Thirdly, the ability to view live demonstrations of products and services provides visitors with an up-close view of which solutions would best suit their environment. Finally, the free-to-attend Facilities Management Seminar Theatre is crammed with insightful and informative talks presented by knowledgeable industry specialists,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions — a division of Montgomery Group.

“We were first-time exhibitors at Facilities Management Expo, and this is also the first time we have exhibited since COVID-19. We were able to meet up with new players in the FM market. We used the expo to introduce the new members of our team to the market. We had some good enquiries in the first few hours of the expo. The show was very busy,” says Marianne Willemse of SA Leak Detection Distributors.

“We were first-timers at Facilities Management Expo, and we used the expo to promote brand awareness, which was highly successful. There was great foot traffic at the expo and the show was very well set up. I commend the organisers for putting together something that clearly takes a load of behind-the-scenes work. We had some fantastic conversations with other exhibitors, which will definitely result in collaborative arrangements,” says Liam May of Decentral Energy.

Organisations wishing to exhibit at Facilities Management Expo 2025 can contact the Facilities Management Expo team on [email protected] or [email protected] to book a space, or capitalise on a sponsorship opportunity.
