[Sponsored] As part of the digitisation of the private security industry, the Authority introduced a digital certificate that is accessible online for both individual and business profiles. This innovation allows security officers and businesses to access their PSiRA registration certificates easily. The certificates are verifiable through scanning a QR code on the certificate, or through the ePSiRA online portal.
The security industry welcomed the introduction of digital certificates; however, it also led to the exploitation of unsuspecting clients by third parties who print certificates at exorbitant fees.
The Authority has considered an interim arrangement for printing registration certificates, which is available on the client’s ePSiRA profile, at no cost. The printing of certificates at no cost is effective from 29 January 2024 until further notice.
To access this service, clients are required to ensure that they book a branch visit on the ePSiRA portal for printing certificates, as only clients with a confirmed booking will be assisted.
