Effective access control

Established in 1975, Flow Systems is known for its original turnstiles designed and manufactured initially for the mining industry. Today, the company has a wide range of physical access control barriers, including a wide selection of vehicle boom barriers, such as manual and automatic boom barrier gates, with or without spikes and/or LEDs.

Flow Systems has introduced its new Extra Heavy Duty Industrial Rising Vehicle Barrier, which provides a high level of protection. It is a traditional-looking control barrier with the benefits of high-level physical protection. It is manufactured from heavy gauge materials, thus making it strong and durable. It is a reliable and dependable barrier with a high impact absorption level.

Currently mines are using these units to control the access for their large trucks as well protecting against unwanted vehicles that may try to gain unauthorised access. Standard boom gates would not do as they would not last very long, and they do not offer much resistance. The units can be supplied either as a manually operated option or an automatic option.

Flow Systems offers a modern automatic touchless Speedgate model for the corporate environment, which can be supplied in either stainless steel or glass finish.
