Onguard Push-to-Talk patrol radio

SMART Mining Security Solutions 2023 Products & Solutions

Onguard’s GSM Push-to-Talk (PTT) radio with a guard patrol module, NFC patrol points and web platform monitoring, is an effective tool for security personnel to manage and monitor guarding sites in real time. This system combines the best of both worlds, with a reliable PTT radio communication system and an advanced guard patrol module using NFC patrol points.

Onguard’s PTT platform is a communication network that allows for instant voice communication with no distance limitation among team members, provided there is the same radio on the other side. This network operates using cellular technology and provides a wide coverage area, making it suitable for security operations across large guarding sites and even different provinces or internationally.

The Onguard PTT patrol radio system is very reliable with low latency, ensuring that communication is instant, seamless and patrol reporting is accurate. Onguard’s developers, who with knowledge in the security industry, developed the guard patrol module and allowed it to be added to the radio, It uses NFC patrol points to track the movements of security guards as they conduct patrols around premises.

A new feature they have added is GPS tracking of each radio, allowing each radio to be tracked live. Each NFC point has a unique address specific to the device it is programmed to. This prevents it from being used on another site. As security personnel tap their patrol device on the NFC point, a voice command lets them know that the point has been visited and that they should move to the new point. The system logs the date, time and point name, providing a complete record for patrols and sent daily, via email, to a nominated list of recipients.

The web platform provides a centralised location for management to monitor security operations. This platform, accessed from any device with an internet connection via a unique user login, enables real-time monitoring of patrols, communication between team members, and the ability to track incidents and generate reports. The platform is highly customisable, allowing security companies to tailor the system to their specific needs.

Overall, the combination of GSM PTT radio, the guard patrol module using NFC patrol points, and web platform monitoring provides a comprehensive solution for managing and monitoring security operations for large or small security companies. This system enables security personnel to communicate instantly, track patrols, and manage incidents in real time, providing a safe and secure environment for people and property. Additionally, the system provides detailed reports and analytics, enabling security personnel to optimise their operations and improve their overall effectiveness.
