System integrators building secure hardware solutions for their clients can choose from a range of fingerprint sensors from Suprema. The choices include optical, waterproof optical, PIV certification, live finger detection, capacitive and steel coated capacitive, all sporting the award-winning Suprema algorithm.

SFM Slim: Ultra-slim FAP20 stand-alone embedded module with FBI PIV compliance and Suprema’s Conformance Decision Engine (CDE) technology that captures the optimal fingerprint image for all finger types; 256-bit AES fingerprint data encryption for high-level security.

SFM6000: For large-scale solutions. Provides fast authentication with capacity for 25 000 templates. Multiple interfaces are supported, including RS232 and USB 2.0.

SFM5500: High-end stand-alone fingerprint module equipped with versatile external interfaces and offering comprehensive functionalities. Can be used as a complete stand-alone fingerprint access reader by itself.

SFM5000: A UniFinger module equipped with Suprema’s fingerprint authentication algorithm. Optimised for performance, while minimising power consumption.

SFM4000: Extra low power-consumption and compact size. Perfect for lock and safe manufacturers looking for an inexpensive, reliable biometric solution.

SFM3000: Cost effective and equipped with the essentials for fingerprint identification and template storage. Suitable for applications where it processes fingerprint recognition, and a host controller is used to handle other operations.

An EVK evaluation kit is available with local integration and software development support. These modules are perfect for cash handling solutions such as cash vaults, safes, cash drawers, ATM’s and cash-in-transit vehicles, as well as banking, cash issuance systems and point-of-sale.
