Paxton Introduces new rewards programme to South African installers

Issue 2/3 2023 News & Events

Paxton has launched Paxton Rewards, offering the first opportunity for installers in South Africa to earn rewards by participating in training, installing Paxton solutions, and completing activities or achievements.

Paxton Rewards is now live in the Paxton Installer app. Download the app for free from the Apple App Store or on Android Google Play.

Gareth O’Hara, Paxton’s Chief Sales Officer, says, “Three years ago, we launched the Paxton Installer app and, so far, it has been downloaded by over 25 000 users. This essentially delivered the first phase development of the programme in validating that the app was deemed useful. We now have the right platform to deliver what will be seen as a simple-to-use, loyalty programme that matches our customers’ expectations.”

Simple to collect points

The Paxton Rewards programme provides installers with a range of benefits and an opportunity to build strong partner relationships with the technology manufacturer. From Paxton Partner to Platinum Partner status, installers will unlock more benefits with every tier, helping them to build and promote their businesses.

Earning points is straightforward, installers can scan any Paxton products with a silver barcode, attend training, or submit case study suggestions.

O’Hara says, “We are huge believers in education and the provision of free training, so when people come to training, they will get points. Also, if they do a fantastic installation that they want to promote via a case study, they will get points by submitting it to us.”

“The programme is not just about purchasing Paxton products, it is also about development through training and education, putting yourself in the shop window with case studies and being a true partner with us.”

Enjoy the benefits

Installers can enjoy different benefits with the Paxton Rewards programme, including Paxton products, partner badges to show their expertise, and elevated listings on Paxton’s website. Paxton branded merchandise and Amazon vouchers are also available for installers to redeem in the Paxton Rewards store, providing options to spend points on what suits their specific needs.

O’Hara says, “For the first time, installers can exchange points for Paxton products. This can add value to their customers and create a commercial advantage. We are keen to work closely with our installers and not only reward them with a programme for the products they buy, but also help them to develop new business by leveraging the Paxton brand themselves.”

Steve Rowlands, Divisional Director of Product Management at Paxton, explains, “Installers can access many useful resources via the app, including literature, product manuals, and installation tutorial videos. What's more, the content is stored in the app locally after viewing. This is useful when installers are on site with no Wi-Fi, as they can still view the materials to get the instructions they need.”

Join the Paxton Tech Tour to become a silver partner

Installers who attend the Paxton Tech Tour will automatically become Silver Partners. Attendees to the must-attend roadshow will be the first to learn about the latest Paxton product offerings and learn how to expand their business as well as have access to five exclusive starter kits at unbeatable prices.
