Paxton begins Tech Tour in South Africa

Issue 1 2023 Training & Education, Access Control & Identity Management

Paxton is offering installers the ultimate security experience in South Africa from February 2023. The Paxton Tech Tour 2023 is free to attend and a chance for installers to develop knowledge and explore business opportunities with Paxton’s products and services.

Dan Drayton, Paxton’s divisional director- EMEA Sales Region, said: “The Paxton Tech Tour is a half day product experience show designed to demonstrate the simplicity of our solutions and how we can help installers grow their business. It’s a fun and interactive session where attendees will get hands on with our smart security technology, hear from our expert teams, and have time to network with other professionals.”

This is the first time Paxton experts have toured the South African region since social restrictions ended face-to-face events in 2020. At a range of venues across the country, the aim of The Paxton Tech Tour 2023 is to meet with security professionals and show them how simple Paxton’s products are to install and use, help them discover sales opportunities and grow their business, and get hands on with the latest solutions.

Graham Thorne, Paxton’s country sales manager for South Africa, said: “The Paxton Tech Tour is a phenomenal tool for existing customers to be reintroduced to Paxton, and a wonderful platform for new customers to see the benefits of Paxton products and services. Partner events are important to us as our industry is very relationship driven. We want to talk with our customers in a dedicated setting and have some fun along the way.”

Attendance to the event is completely free and installers can sign up via Paxton’s website or contact their local Paxton distributors.

Drayton said: “We have designed the events to accommodate 10 to 20 people per session, depending on location. This allows Paxton specialists to have quality, dedicated conversations with attendees.”

The Paxton Tech Tour 2023 is unlike Paxton’s installer training programme and described by Paxton as a ‘turnkey event’. It focuses on enhancing installers’ businesses and profitability by maximising existing projects, as well as showing how Paxton’s latest technology can provide a range of innovative security solutions, adding value to them and their customers.

There will be demonstrations of Paxton’s apps, its flagship access control system Net2, its integrated access control and video management platform Paxton10, Entry, its standalone video intercom product, as well as PaxLock Pro which is Paxton’s smart wireless door handles.

An exclusive Paxton installer gift box worth R850 will be given to every attendee. Installers can also take part in virtual racing or a competition for a chance to win the Net2 starter kit or a R2000 fine dining experience.

Drayton concludes: “We want to provide a world-class experience for all attendees. It will be fun and informative, ensuring that everybody leaves the event fully understanding the potential of using Paxton products to grow their business.
