Access Portal from Impro Technologies

Issue 7 2022 Residential Estate (Industry)

Impro Technologies, in partnership with Access & Beyond, offers customers the Access Portal software suite, which provides powerful features wrapped in a simple and easy-to-use interface. Whether you want a basic access control solution or a multi-site installation integrated with different security systems, Access Portal can manage them all.

The beauty of Access Portal is its ability to scale seamlessly into new tiers without the traditional database migrations, re-enrolment and hassle. Simply purchase an upgrade licence to the new tier, enter it into the system and you’re done. All your data is there, along with a full audit history.

Whether it’s creating advanced zoning features, expiry reasons and more, Access Portal comes with a variety of advanced features that enable you to customise the software to your specific needs using ‘off-the-shelf’ software.

We’ve done the hard work of integrating class-leading biometric devices (finger, hand and face) into Access Portal, including devices from IDEMIA, Suprema and Hikvision, and associated thermal screening. A wide variety of integrations are available with Access Portal, whether external hardware or additional security software such as time and attendance, visitor management and video management systems.

Access Portal offers unrivalled flexibility for other systems and products to be integrated easily into the access control system. Access Portal is available in a variety of tiers:

• Lite: Ideal for small sites not wanting the hassle of a server, this software is embedded on the cluster controller and accommodates 1000 users and up to 16 doors.

• Basic: Free software that manages up to 100 doors and 1000 users.

• Pro: The most popular software – allows for multiple sites and up to 5000 users and 200 doors.

• Enterprise: Designed for large installations, with advanced functionality, the system manages 1 million or more users and up to 1000 sites.
