4 MP eyeball and bullet network cameras

Residential Security Handbook 2022: SMART Living Surveillance

Launched by Dahua Technology, WizSense is a series of AI products and solutions that adopt independent AI chip and deep learning algorithms. It focuses on humans and vehicles with high accuracy, enabling users to act on defined targets. Based on Dahua’s advanced technologies, WizSense provides intelligent, simple and inclusive products and solutions. These cameras are available in eyeball or bullet format.

With advanced deep learning algorithms, Dahua WizSense 2 Series network cameras support intelligent functions such as perimeter protection and smart motion detection. With Starlight technology, the cameras provide better images in low illumination.

Dahua’s Smart Dual Illuminator technology adopts smart algorithms to detect targets. Usually, the IR illuminator is on at night; when the target appears in the monitoring area, the white light switches on and the camera records full-colour video and information of key events. When the target is out of the monitoring area, the white light is turned off and the IR illuminator is turned on, which reduces light pollution.

In addition, Dahua’s Smart Motion Detection technology can categorise targets that trigger motion detection and only warn of real risks, reducing false alarms. With an advanced scene-adaptive rate control algorithm, smart encoding technology offers higher encoding efficiency than H.265 and H.264, which provides high-quality video and reduces the cost of storage and transmission.

Dahua network cameras also employ a series of security technologies, including security authentication and authorisation, access control protocols, trusted protection, encrypted transmission and encrypted storage. These technologies improve the camera’s defence against external cyber threats and prevent malicious programs from compromising the device.
