CathexisVision integrated with Suprema’s BioStar2

Issue 4 2022 News & Events, Access Control & Identity Management, Integrated Solutions

The CathexisVision BioStar2 Access Control Integration is the product of a dynamic partnership between Cathexis and Suprema. BioStar2 is a flexible web-based platform that allows remote management of access control, and time and attendance.

Access groups and access control levels can be controlled from the BioStar2 web or mobile interface, which support a range of Suprema’s access control products, including IP face recognition and fingerprint devices.

This integration uses BioStar2 access control events to trigger automated actions on the CathexisVision system, including alerts, recording a camera and commands such as locking and unlocking doors, as well as clearing an alarm.

CathexisVision offers a powerful solution for safely managing data and video generated by BioStar2 events. The sophisticated database enables easy searching of records and associated video recording. Together, BioStar2 and CathexisVision are creating safer and more efficient work environments.
