Xscann Technologies

Xscann Technologies will be featuring Smiths Detection X-ray technology, including the latest ECAC EDS CB C3 approved and TSA AT-21 TIER II certified in the USA, Smiths Detection HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX Computed Tomography (CT), which eliminates the need to remove electronic devices and liquids from hand baggage and features high throughput levels and the CEIA walk-through metal detector with 60 localised zones for effective highlighted detection from head to toe.

The stand will also display the Smiths Detection HI-SCAN 6040-2is HR, approved as LEDS according to EU Standard 2 and 3 Type C, also approved according to EU EDS Cabin Baggage Standard C1, a dual-view X-ray inspection system for the automatic detection of solid and liquid explosives in personal belongings and cabin baggage. The unit has an ergonomic design that makes it easy for the operator to identify threats on screen. Though primarily used for airport screening, its compact footprint makes it suitable for locations with space constraints, such as hotels and government buildings.

Manning the stand will be two executives of the company, sales personnel and a technical expert to answer all technical questions. Visitors can come and scan their bags using the latest 3D computed tomography technology and see the image quality that effectively assists operators in minimising traffic.
