Western Digital is exhibiting at Securex South Africa for the first time and will highlight the importance of security and smart video with flexible infrastructure and data solutions to address risk and offer more choice. In addition, Western Digital will display its key product ranges.
The WD Purple line, which is engineered specifically for smart video and surveillance, will include two product solutions WD Purple, Purple Pro and WD Purple Micro SD. Offering improved efficiency for overall video playback, these devices bring reliable, surveillance-class storage that has been tested for compatibility in a wide range of security systems.
In addition to the focus on surveillance and CCTV storage solutions, Western Digital will also display an enterprise data solution. The Ultrastar Data 60 is designed for high density and flexibility, the hybrid storage platform is a key element of next-generation disaggregated storage and software-defined storage (SDS) systems.
