Major food supply chain secured

Issue 2 2022 Access Control & Identity Management

The recently completed major installation at Lynca Meats Meyerton was the start of a new market strategy for Boomgate Systems in primarily dealing with security integrators.

The scope discussions were conducted directly with Lynca Meats, addressing various physical access control challenges they were facing, however, including Intervid-Africa in the discussions reinforced the overall effectiveness of the proposed solution, ultimately constructing a full turnkey solution, with the customer being directly involved with the OEM of the turnstiles as well as the integrator.

Installing four single full-height turnstiles with integrated access control provided by Intervid-Africa, filled a security and access gap that no longer needs to be a concern.

Projects like these highlight the vital importance of synergy required by OEMs as well as security and access integrators. “Working closely with the end users, without compromising the integrity of our security integrator is a major drive for us in 2022,” says Ray dos Santos, Boomgate’s group head of sales.

Looking to the future, Boomgate Systems will promote closer working relationships between the security integrators and end users, while remaining at the disposal of the customer for enquiries, debates and challenges to provide full peace of mind solutions.
