Residential Security Handbook 2022: SMART Estate Living Residential Estate (Industry)

Fingerprint biometrics provide an extra level of security to residential estates and high-rise buildings by ensuring that the person entering is in actual fact them. Fingerprints are convenient, they cannot be lost, stolen or misplaced and they cannot be shared with a friend. Suprema offers a wide range of fingerprint biometric terminals and devices suited to various environments and settings.

The BioStation range offers fast matching, uncompromised security and accuracy. The BioStation A2 and L2 features Live Finger Detection, while the BioStation 2 is suitable for outdoors (IP65). The BioLite N2 features a rugged IP67 housing making it perfect for outdoor/indoor installations. It supports full T&A; and access control functionality for 10 000 users, features multi-class RFID reading technology, plus BLE and NFC for mobile fingerprint credentials. It provides for the following Interfaces: TCP/IP, RS-485 and Wiegand. An FBI-certified model is available.

Packed in a slim, mullion-type design, the BioEntry range provides high-definition fingerprint image capture, minutiae extraction and RF card reading capability.
