Residential Security Handbook 2022: SMART Estate Living Residential Estate (Industry)

Over the years, the world as we know it has changed drastically, leaving no room for error when it comes to safety. With the rapidly growing crime rate, the need for reliable, quality security access technology has increased immensely. As a pioneer in security access systems in South Africa, ClickOn has established itself as an industry leader, offering integrated solutions that cater for all your visitor and resident access management requirements.

Danie le Roux.

At ClickOn Communications, we specialise in the design and implementation of electronic visitor and resident access control systems to and from closed communities to ensure that safety remains your top priority. We offer security access services to a wide variety of spaces, including residential, golf and eco-estates, business parks, office blocks, townhouse developments, apartment buildings and street closures.

It remains a privilege to be a local company, providing local solutions. ClickOn is based in Pretoria, but we have expanded to other parts of South Africa and now also provide our services to clients in the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State. With more than

500 systems operating in Gauteng alone and 800 000 users engaging with our systems daily, we are rapidly expanding our footprint across the country.

ClickOn is proud to form part of the larger Bidvest family which provides top-tier risk management through a variety of integrated solutions, including guarding services, close protection, investigations, special operations, risk assessment, tactical units, technical security system installations and more.

What does ClickOn offer?

18 years ago, we identified the need for seamless visitor and resident access management technology that provides an additional barrier of protection to closed communities across the country. In 2003, ClickOn positioned itself as the leader in visitor access technology systems, a pioneer in the business of customised estate management solutions in South Africa. This has given us a competitive advantage when it comes to offering customised, state-of-the-art security systems to give us a winning edge in an ever-changing market. Over the years, the security access management industry has evolved to meet the demands of an ever-changing world – so have we.

We understand the importance of placing innovation at the forefront of everything we do to ensure that we stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies. At ClickOn, we pride ourselves on always being on the cutting-edge of access control technology. As our technology evolves, so does yours.

Our skilled team of in-house engineers has designed our systems for high volume use in harsh environments. We have spared no expense when it comes to the quality and durability of our systems. Only the best materials and manufacturing processes are utilised giving our product range the edge. All ClickOn components are also manufactured in-house. Having internal expertise empowers us to offer exceptional service response times. We have a vested interest in every site we service. Our rental and maintenance model offers our customers peace of mind, knowing that when things go wrong, they are covered. Our reporting system is of an exceptional standard, keeping your fingers on the pulse of all the main access control and security drivers in your estate.

Furthermore, our systems are extremely vandal-resistant. In the unlikely event that the system is breached our service team is immediately notified by the onboard intrusion detection system. The internal diagnostic functions of our systems book their own service calls when an anomaly in the system is detected.

At ClickOn, we pride ourselves on our holistic offering – where excellence is always at the centre of everything we do. “The value of a reliable access control system lies in the entire offering and excellent service and support is always at the core,” says Danie le Roux, ClickOn’s CEO. “We are passionate about delivering excellent service to our customers through our systems and our staff.”
