The Titan industrial full-height turnstile offers a high level of security and is ideal for residential estates. Typically installed at gatehouses, the Titan turnstile can integrate with any type of access control technology, including card readers and biometric readers. The turnstile is available in a number of different finishes to suit the estate’s aesthetic and corrosion resistance requirements, including powder coated mild steel, hot dip galvanised mild steel and brushed stainless steel.
A key feature of the Titan turnstile is the Rotalok rotation locking mechanism which is ultra heavy-duty and has been the mechanism of choice for South Africa’s mining industry over the last 30 years. The suspended rotor technology allows Turnstar to offer a 10-year guarantee on both the mechanism and the base bearing. Both 3-arm and 4-arm versions of the turnstile are available, as well as single and double configurations for low, medium and high volumes of pedestrian traffic.
