Powell Tronics has introduced HOME, a solution that caters for a single point of data collection, becoming the master data vault of all estate personal information. This important information is then able to update relevant and accurate information to other systems on estates or gated communities.
The user interface is of such a nature that homeowners and, in some instances, tenants or property managing agents are able to update property-related information directly, such as residents, tenants, third-party contractors, their respective pets and vehicle information. This also includes domestic staff and service providers, which may then be shared among multiple properties.
HOME improves PoPIA compliance, and it lightens the administration load on the HOA.
On HOA approval, a person’s access details are synchronised to the access control and PT-Guest visitor management systems respectively. This seamless, single-direction integration ensures that all information across the platforms is relevant and accurate. Any changes to personal information must be done in HOME, which will in turn update all relevant systems once approved by the HOA.
Once in Access Portal, a tag or biometric profile can be issued to the tagholder with access groups defined by the HOME profile. Residents will automatically be able to access relevant resident access groups, while domestic staff and contractors will be assigned to their respective profile access groups. This security feature is to ensure that no unlawful access is assigned to persons erroneously.
The HOME service continuously polls the subsequent systems to ensure that any relevant personal data that has been updated in third-party systems is in line with what is captured in HOME and will re-update the information if found to be different. This ensures that data integrity is always maintained as per the master system.
