The Velocity Raptor automatic spike barrier is ideal for residential and estate vehicle security. High speed opening and closing is provided by the use of brushless DC geared motors. The vehicle barrier is designed for heavy-duty use and incorporates the Optic LED barrier arm for extra day and night visibility. The enhanced visibility ensures added safety and security, reducing the risk of accidents.
Integral collision detection with auto-reverse ensures safe operation combined with an internal loop detector system for the reliable detection of vehicles. The new surface-mounted design spike barrier offers the lowest profile shape in South Africa, with a height clearance of only 55 mm and a raised spike height of 80 mm. The domed cover provides exceptional strength, can support the weight of any vehicle or truck and acts a speed calming bump.
The recessed version is supplied with a patented double-sided spike ensuring protection from both sides. Battery backup is supplied as standard within the barrier, ensuring uninterrupted operation in the event of load-shedding. The vehicle barrier cabinet is available in any powder-coated colour finish or in a highly aesthetically pleasing brushed stainless steel. The barrier arm with integrated LED is available in lengths of 3 m up to 6 m and fits onto the barrier with a breakaway system, allowing for the barrier arm to be reinserted after a collision with minimal damage.
