ZKTeco offers touchless access for people and vehicles

Issue 4 2020 Asset Management

ZKTeco sports a range of touchless entrance control solutions from licence plate recognition cameras through to facial recognition and multi-modal access solutions.

Starting at the gate, ZKTeco assists in access control to offices, industrial parks and even residential estates with licence plate recognition cameras. The LPRS1000, for example, integrates a licence plate recognition camera, LED display, voice broadcast, fill light, fixed base and other integrated structures. ZKTeco also offers UHF long-distance tag readers, also for touchless vehicle entrance. The tag is attached to the vehicle so that the user doesn’t have to even touch a card or keyfob.

In terms of conventional facial recognition devices for indoor use in offices, etc., the company offers its KF460 and MultiBio700 and MultiBio800 facial recognition access control terminal.

Its latest facial recognition offering is built on visible light facial recognition and incudes products such as the SpeedFaceV5, ProFaceX (which recently won the 2020 Govies Government Security Award for best biometric access control technology). The ProFacex(TD) includes facial recognition and 3-in-1 palm recognition – palm print, palm shape, and palm vein. Moreover it now also includes fast and accurate body temperature measurement as well as masked individual identification.
