Expanded entrance control

Drawing on the extensive experience of manufacturing and the installation of entrance control solutions across the globe, Gunnebo introduces a thermo-imaging reader to effectively protect your employees and visitors during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Body Temperature Control (BTC) system is available as a factory-fitted option to all new Gunnebo entrance control pedestrian solutions, including Speedstile, for fast, controlled and touchless access. Or it can be retrofitted to existing Gunnebo entrance control equipment.

The combination of the BTC system and an entrance control mitigation device is the ideal solution to provide reliable temperature checks at your entrances. The gate will only open on receipt of both valid access credentials and body temperature within the admissible range, while maintaining a high people flow and uncompromised security.

This solution is under international review as part of the regulatory framework to create a safer workplace and in anticipation of the lifting of restrictions on movement imposed by COVID-19.

Positioned at the entrance to supermarkets, for example, the BTC system can be combined with the Gunnebo pedestrian speed gates’ built-in Building Capacity Management (BCM) system to control numbers as an effective means to aid social distancing. These integrated systems also eliminate the reliance on human intervention and exposure to staff.

The typical areas of application for such solutions would include commercial and office buildings, retail outlets, healthcare centres, schools and universities, leisure centres, hospitality, convention venues, manufacturing plants and public transport hubs.
