New PIN keypad for self-service payment

EAO has launched a new PIN-entry keypad as part of the W.series range. Resistant to impact, vibration and sealed to IP67, they are suited for ATMs, PIN-entry terminals, fuel pumps, ticket-issuing machines and other self-service, speed-payment systems.

The 16-key keypad features four double-sized keys for important commands like 'enter', 'cancel' and 'clear'. The raised key legends are compliant with many banking regulations for the visually-impaired, and, if required, EAO can further customise the keypads with laser-engraved symbols in a range of colours.

The all-metal grid and anti-pull-off keys are vandal-resistant, each one offering a service life of 4 million operations in temperatures between -25 to +80°C. Encryption modules can be integrated within these products through trusted third-party partnerships. The W.series also features a 4-key keypad for extending the options and functionality of equipment.

All EAO keypads provide tactile feedback that is reassuring and comfortable for users - crucial for self-service equipment, says EAO.
