New design kit drives successful completion of PCI-X compliance tests

At the recent PCI PlugFest held by the PCI Special Interest Group, Avnet Electronics Marketing, and Jungo Software Technologies successfully completed PCI-X compliance tests using the new PCI-X 64/133 design kit.
Powered by the Xilinx Virtex-II FPGAs and the LogiCORET PCI-X IP Core, Jungo says the new design kit will now let system designers create fully compliant, real world PCI-X applications quickly and easily.
The design kit will include an Avnet Virtex-II based Development Board, the Xilinx PCI-X IP Core and the Jungo WinDriver driver development tool for PCI devices. The kit also comes with schematics, layout, a bill of materials, demonstration code and a comprehensive board support package.
