Due to its fast growth Component Sources has recently moved to new corporate premises with more space allocation for cable assembly manufacturing. Offering added service with faster deliveries to clients, the company says it can provide competitively-priced cable assemblies with swift turn-around periods by direct import of all its cable, connectors and accessories.
Components Sources also manufactures special cables to clients' specifications. High-speed semi-automatic crimping machines can (conservatively) average 10 000 crimps per day. All cable stripping is performed on pneumatic semi-automatic machines that ensure correct stripping length and depth without nicking of the conductors. The semi-automatic RJ9/11/12/45 crimping machines, again, ensure accurate crimp depths, maintaining quality assurance at all times.
All cables are tested either on CAT5 or PC-based cable testers ensuring stringent quality control and every cable is supplied with a QC certificate. The cable tester allocates a signature number, which is logged in the cable register for future manufacture of the same cable.
Component Sources offers a full, in-house service to its clients. Peripheral devices can be supplied with the necessary cables. Surface boxes for CAT3 to CAT6 can be supplied with the associated cabling for networking applications, amongst other possibilities.
Other products of interest include: flat ribbon cable assemblies, telephone line cords, patch and flyleads, multicore Mylar screened assemblies for data, keyboard and printer cables, coaxial flyleads, fibre patchcords, as well as power cables.
