Secutel Technologies’ Visual Verifier is an effective intrusion system designed specifically to accommodate for low bandwidth availability and low power usage. When an alarm is triggered, the camera takes multiple snapshots (photos), which are sent via a communication network, such as a secure GSM APN or broadband, to the monitoring control room for the purpose of determining if an activation is genuine or false.
This device empowers the control room operators to make better decisions around alarms and responses. The Visual Verifier has the added benefits of an I/O (input/output) port expander to which devices other than cameras can be linked, e.g. third-party devices such as door contacts, delay locks etc. Showing the opening and closings of multiple zones will allow for more effective remote monitoring of sites.
With the help of the SecuVue Bridge, another Secutel developed product, the Visual Verifier can convert all footage from local storage to cloud-based surveillance, with analytics such as facial collection, facial recognition, activity heat maps, scene analysis etc. This data in turn can be used for business intelligence. All the data collected will feed into actionable intelligence that informs the organisation’s strategic and tactical business decisions.
Some other features include:
• Tamper detection.
• Cell jamming detection.
• Auto arming and disarming of sites.
• IP communications over Ethernet with backup dual SIMs with auto failover and selection of best available signal.
• System health monitoring and reporting with automated ticket management.
• Battery backup for up to 72 hours.
• The system can be remotely configured and tested to ensure 24/7 complete monitoring.
